How do I find GOOD SHEPHERD?
Good Shepherd Community of Christ is the church located on Blue Ridge Blvd. near 40 Highway and Blue Ridge Blvd. We're across from the Apple Market near 43rd Street and Blue Ridge Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri. Look for the trees in the front yard and the sign in the picture above. There are two driveway entrances off Blue Ridge Blvd., one on each side of the building, that lead to the main parking lot and entrance to the front of the church. |

Is this a child-friendly congregation?
YES!! Children are important members of the Good Shepherd family. You can find more details under Children's Ministries. We have church school classes for all ages and various activities for children and families throughout the year. We value the ministry shared by persons of all ages so you can find children sharing in worship services through things like prayer, music, readings, passing out bulletins and helping take up the offering. Most of our worship services include a "focus moment" which focuses on children's ministry (which the adults secretly love!). We offer Vacation Bible School, an Arts Camp and Children's Spiritual Formation Center, Scouting programs and many other family-oriented activities. Our members working with children's ministries are certified through a child protection certification course. |

Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! We are just glad you are joining us!
Dress on Sunday leans toward casual, however you will find people dressed in their Sunday best and others in blue jeans, a t-shirt, and sandals.

Is GOOD SHEPHERD handicap accessible?
YES! There are handicap parking spaces, cut-outs in the sidewalks and a ramp in the foyer.
The main rooms are all on one level. There is a separate entrance to easily access the lower level.
